This Is Home: Legislative Briefing

On August 17, the Afghan-American Foundation hosted four legislative advocacy experts who helped get the Afghan Adjustment Act introduced by bi-partisan sponsors in both houses of Congress. We discussed the votes necessary to get this legislation passed, effective messaging for those wanting to engage in advocacy, and next steps in our #ThisIsHome campaign.
